An idle charger is an expensive charger.

Above 150 kW the grid connection alone is benchmarked at ₹24 lakh, before the charger — and what you may charge per unit is capped at ₹11–13 for DC. That leaves one lever: how often the thing gets used. India averages about ~5%. Break-even is commonly put at 10–12%.
